........From 7/2010 --The Medical View radio show presented a fascinating discussion on the power of intuition in healing and caregiving this summer. The show host, renowned breast surgeon Dr. Beth DuPree,author of The Healing Consciousness, and psychologist Susan Apollon, author of Touched by the Extraordinary,discussed “real life” examples of how intuition works.
In addition to their personal experiences, they cited the work of recent guests on the show: Dr. Christiana Northrup, author of Women’s Bodies, Women’s Wisdom and yours truly as the author of Brain,Heal Thyself and Eureka! It was a great opportunity to discuss creative approaches to brain recovery and caregiving with two compassionate physicians in tune with the caregiver's concerns, needs and fears. ........Thank you caregivers who attended my Eureka! presentation at The Brain Injury Association of Wisconsin's Annual Conference on May 5, 2010. It was also an excellent opportunity to talk with rehabilitation and research professionals who are passionate about helping those with brain injuries.
